- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and blueberries. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup of sugar and toss to coat. Let sit for 15 minutes until the juices are released.
- In another bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, Greek yogurt, remaining sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Divide the berry mixture among serving glasses or bowls.
- Spoon the cream mixture over the berries, filling each glass.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to use any combination of seasonal fruits.
- This dessert can be made a few hours ahead of time and stored in the fridge.
- For a lighter version, you can substitute the heavy cream with coconut cream.
