  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp softened butter (for filling)

Instructions

  1. Mix sourdough starter, flour, sugar, melted butter, milk, egg, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Knead until smooth, cover, and let rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Roll the dough into a rectangle.
  4. Spread softened butter, then sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar.
  5. Roll tightly and cut into 8 pieces.
  6. Place in a greased pan, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes.
