- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Stir until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon.
