Description

A quick and easy twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, turned into sloppy joes.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and bell pepper, cooking until soft.
  3. Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Simmer for 10 minutes until thickened.
  5. Place provolone cheese on each bun.
  6. Spoon beef mixture onto buns and serve.
