- 1 turkey (12-14 lbs)
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp rosemary
- 2 tbsp thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Rub turkey with butter, salt, pepper, rosemary, and thyme.
- Place turkey in roasting pan and pour chicken broth over it.
- Cover with foil and roast for 3 hours.
- Remove foil and roast for another hour until golden brown.
- Let rest for 20 minutes before carving.
Notes
- Use a meat thermometer to check doneness.
- Baste turkey every 30 minutes for juiciness.
