Ingredients

  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup (125g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  4. In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together peanut butter and milk until smooth. Drizzle half of the peanut butter mixture over the brownie batter.
  7. Spoon the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter layer, then drizzle the rest of the peanut butter mixture on top.
  8. Using a knife or a toothpick, swirl the peanut butter into the brownie batter to create a marbled effect.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.

  • For extra chocolate flavor, add chocolate chips to the brownie batter.
