This beautiful patriotic berry trifle is perfect for celebrating the 4th of July or any patriotic holiday. Layers of fluffy whipped cream, fresh berries, and tender cake create a stunning dessert that everyone will love.

- 1 pound strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 pound blueberries
- 1 pound raspberries
- 1 store-bought pound cake, cut into cubes
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom.
- Add a layer of half of the sliced strawberries, followed by half of the blueberries and half of the raspberries.
- Spread half of the whipped cream over the berries.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining pound cake, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and whipped cream.
- Chill the trifle for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
- Garnish with additional berries on top before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to use any combination of berries you prefer.
- This dessert can be made a few hours in advance. Just keep it covered in the refrigerator.
