Instructions
- Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel.
- Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add scallops to the skillet without overcrowding.
- Sear for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown.
- Flip scallops, add butter, and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Remove scallops and drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
