Ingredients
Scale
- 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 lemon (for serving)
Instructions
- Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until crispy.
- Flip salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove salmon and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic, parsley, and dill.
- Spoon herb butter over salmon and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs for best flavor.
- Do not overcrowd the pan.
- Check salmon doneness with a fork—flaky means done.
