Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 8 oz linguine
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add diced chicken and cook until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, then stir in linguine.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 12-15 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Stir in mozzarella cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt, pepper, basil, and red pepper flakes.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
- If the sauce is too thick, thin it with a splash of milk.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
