Description

Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340g) pasta (penne or rotini work well)
  • 3 cups (300g) broccoli florets, chopped
  • 2 cups (480ml) milk
  • 2 cups (200g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup (30g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) olive oil
  • 1 tsp (5g) garlic powder
  • 1 tsp (5g) salt
  • 1/2 tsp (2g) black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a 9×13 baking dish, combine dry pasta, broccoli, milk, olive oil, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
  5. Remove foil, sprinkle cheese evenly over the top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 15 more minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
