Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into squares
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into squares
- 1 onion, cut into squares
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for grilling
Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before using to prevent burning.
- In a bowl, combine chicken pieces with BBQ sauce, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the chicken, bell peppers, and onion onto the skewers, alternating between chicken and vegetables.
- Brush the skewers lightly with olive oil.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove from the grill and serve with additional BBQ sauce if desired.
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like zucchini or mushrooms.
