Description

These BBQ chicken skewers are perfect for Memorial Day gatherings, serving a crowd with juicy, flavorful chicken coated in a tangy BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1215 skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken cubes, BBQ sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.
  2. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
