Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pound strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 pound blueberries
  • 1 pound pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer half of the pound cake cubes on the bottom.
  3. Spread half of the vanilla pudding over the cake cubes.
  4. Add a layer of sliced strawberries, followed by a layer of blueberries.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining pound cake, pudding, strawberries, and blueberries.
  6. Top with the whipped cream, spreading it evenly over the top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
