  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Celebrate Memorial Day with these mouth-watering BBQ ribs, slow-cooked to perfection and slathered in a tangy homemade barbecue sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks of pork ribs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup homemade barbecue sauce or store-bought

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat dry.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Rub the olive oil over the ribs, then season generously with the spice mix.
  5. Wrap each rack of ribs in aluminum foil and place on the grill. Cook for 2-3 hours.
  6. Carefully remove the ribs from the foil and brush with barbecue sauce.
  7. Grill for an additional 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with more sauce.
  8. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the ribs in the spice mixture overnight.
  • You can use a slow cooker instead of a grill for a more tender result.
