- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish.
- Spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add herbs or spices to the mixture.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or vegetables.
