- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix until well combined, but do not overmix.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
- Spread a thin layer of ketchup on top of the meatloaf if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
