- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onions, bell peppers, eggs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and all spices. Mix until fully combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread the additional ketchup on top of the meatloaf for extra flavor and moisture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
