- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add chicken broth, heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine.
- Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
- Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
