- 1/4 cup maple syrup

- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Stir in pecans.
- Spread batter into the pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden.
- Cool before cutting into squares.
