Instructions

  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  4. Fold in flour, baking powder, and lemon zest.
  5. Pour batter into the tin and bake for 40-45 mins.
  6. Mix lemon juice and icing sugar for the glaze.
  7. Drizzle glaze over the cooled cake.
