- 2 cups sourdough starter
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix sourdough starter, water, and sugar.
- Add flour and salt, mix until combined.
- Gently fold in blueberries, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise for 4 hours, covered.
- Shape the dough and let it rise for another 2 hours.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool before slicing.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen blueberries.
- Adjust sugar based on your sweetness preference.
- Store bread in an airtight container.
