Description
Tender beef ribs marinated in a sweet and spicy Korean-style sauce, grilled to perfection for a sticky, flavorful dish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs beef short ribs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, honey, and black pepper in a bowl to make the marinade.
- Place beef ribs in a large ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight).
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove ribs from marinade, shaking off excess.
- Grill ribs for 4-5 minutes per side, basting with leftover marinade, until caramelized and tender.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For extra tenderness, marinate overnight.
- If you don’t have a grill, broil in the oven for similar results.
- Adjust gochujang for more or less heat.
