  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
  2. Add the sliced flank steak to the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes, or up to 1 hour in the refrigerator for more flavor.
  3. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef to the skillet in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary.
  4. Cook the beef for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  5. Remove the beef from the skillet and let it rest for a minute.
  6. Serve the beef over cooked rice. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
