A delicious and easy-to-make Korean beef bowl featuring tender beef, rice, and fresh vegetables.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 green onion, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Drain excess fat and add soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and ginger to the skillet.
- Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- In another pot, steam the broccoli and carrots until tender.
- To serve, place cooked rice in bowls, top with the beef mixture, steamed vegetables, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
- For extra spice, add some red pepper flakes to the beef mixture.
