Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, pork, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, black pepper, and green onions.
  3. Shape mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until fully cooked.
  5. For the spicy mayo dip, whisk mayonnaise, gochujang, and rice vinegar in a small bowl.
  6. Serve meatballs warm with the spicy mayo dip.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, brush meatballs with additional Korean BBQ sauce before serving.
  • Substitute ground chicken or turkey if preferred.
