Ingredients

- 2 steaks (8 oz each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp crushed peppercorns
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Season steaks with salt and pepper.
- Cook steaks for 4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove steaks and let them rest.
- In the same pan, melt butter and add crushed peppercorns.
- Pour in beef broth and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook until thickened.
- Serve sauce over steaks.
