Description
A quick and flavorful beef fillet marinated with harissa, ready in under an hour.
Ingredients

- 500g beef fillet, trimmed
- 3 tbsp harissa paste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Mix harissa, olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Coat the beef fillet evenly with the marinade.
- Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the fillet for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Adjust harissa for more or less spice.
- Use a meat thermometer for precise doneness.
- Leftovers make great sandwiches.
