- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 large pita bread or flatbreads
- 1 cup Greek yogurt or tzatziki sauce
- 1 cup sliced cucumber
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken strips and coat well. Marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until done.
- Warm the pita bread briefly.
- Spread Greek yogurt or tzatziki on each pita.
- Add chicken, cucumber, tomatoes, and red onion.
- Fold and serve immediately.
