- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 lemon, halved
Instructions
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and place it in the crockpot.
- In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken, including under the skin if possible.
- Place the halved lemon inside the cavity of the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Once done, carefully remove the chicken from the crockpot and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
