- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken pieces to the marinade and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Add shrimp to the marinade and let it sit for an additional 15-30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken and shrimp from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off.
- Grill or cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked.
- Add the shrimp to the grill or skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add your favorite herbs like thyme or rosemary to the marinade.
- Make sure not to overcook the shrimp to keep them tender.
