- 1 tsp onion powder
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties.
- Brush the grill or skillet with vegetable oil.
- Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness.
- Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking.
- Toast the hamburger buns lightly if desired.
- Assemble the burgers with your preferred toppings and serve immediately.
