- 12 fresh jalapeños
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 12 slices of bacon, cut in half
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes for less heat.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with half a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
- Place the wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add diced green onions or spices to the cheese mixture.
- If you like it spicier, leave some of the seeds in the jalapeños.
- Serve with ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.
