Description

These spicy jalapeño poppers are stuffed with a creamy cheese filling, wrapped in crispy bacon, and baked to perfection. Perfect for parties or a tasty snack!


Ingredients

  • 12 fresh jalapeños
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 12 slices of bacon, cut in half

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes for less heat.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with half a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if necessary.
  6. Place the wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add diced green onions or spices to the cheese mixture.
  • If you like it spicier, leave some of the seeds in the jalapeños.
