Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and carrots. Cook until soft.
  3. Add ground meat and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Add peas. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Transfer meat mixture to a baking dish.
  7. Spread mashed potatoes on top of the meat mixture.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
