Description
Traditional Irish food enjoyed during Christmas celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs of potatoes
- 1 lb of carrots
- 1 lb of Brussels sprouts
- 1 lb of parsnips
- 1 lb of ham
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 1/2 cup of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and chop the potatoes and carrots.
- Boil potatoes and carrots in salted water until tender.
- In another pot, steam Brussels sprouts and parsnips until cooked.
- Cook the ham according to package instructions.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and add chicken broth.
- Drain vegetables and mix with butter and broth.
- Serve ham alongside the vegetables.

- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Can substitute vegetables based on preference.
- Pair with Irish soda bread for a complete meal.
