- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper for heat
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- After draining and rinsing the chickpeas, spread them out on a clean kitchen towel or paper towel and pat them dry thoroughly.
- In a bowl, toss the dried chickpeas with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using) until evenly coated.
- Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Let the chickpeas cool for a few minutes before serving.
