Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and sear for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes or until pink and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside with the steak.
- Lower the heat to medium and add the butter to the skillet. Once melted, pour in the soy sauce mixture and stir to combine.
- Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat in the glaze. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the glaze.
- You can substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
