  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Gluten-Free

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and sear for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes or until pink and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside with the steak.
  4. Lower the heat to medium and add the butter to the skillet. Once melted, pour in the soy sauce mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat in the glaze. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the glaze.
  • You can substitute shrimp with chicken or tofu for a different protein option.
