Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup crushed nuts
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar.
- Add vanilla extract and stir until sugar dissolves.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker.
- Churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- In the last few minutes of churning, add chocolate chips and crushed nuts.
- Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use any flavor of extract for variety.
- Store ice cream in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
- Let ice cream sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before serving for easier scooping.
