- 2 cups fresh huckleberries
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine huckleberries and lemon juice. Pour into a greased 9-inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix rolled oats, brown sugar, flour, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt until crumbly.
- Spread the oat mixture over the huckleberries evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
