Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • as needed Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness, about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. In a bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Season both sides of the chicken cutlets with the spice mixture.
  5. Dip each chicken cutlet into the beaten egg, allowing excess to drip off.
  6. Coat the chicken cutlets in panko breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan cheese, pressing gently to adhere.
  7. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray to prevent sticking.
  8. Place the breaded chicken cutlets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap.
  9. Lightly spray the tops of the chicken cutlets with olive oil spray.
  10. Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
  11. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken cutlets in your favorite marinade for 30 minutes before breading.
  • Feel free to customize the seasoning to your taste, adding herbs or spices as desired.
