- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt.
- Add chicken pieces to the bowl and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the marinated chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry.
- Pour the slurry into the pan and stir until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, coat the chicken in cornstarch before cooking.
- Adjust honey and soy sauce to taste.
- Serve with rice or noodles.
