Ingredients

- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, honey, melted butter, and egg.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients.
- Pour batter into a greased skillet.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.
- Brush with extra melted butter and honey before serving.
Notes
- Use a cast-iron skillet for best results.
- Adjust honey for desired sweetness.
- Serve warm.
