- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups roasted nuts (almonds, pistachios, or hazelnuts)
Instructions
- Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- Combine sugar, honey, and water in a saucepan. Heat until it reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Beat egg whites and salt until stiff peaks form.
- Slowly pour the hot syrup into the egg whites while mixing.
- Add vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
- Fold in roasted nuts.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared pan and let it cool completely.
- Cut into bars and serve.
