Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually blend dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes.
