- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 lime, juiced
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 avocado, sliced
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Remove chicken from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes, then shred.
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
- Fill tortillas with shredded chicken.
- Top with onion, cilantro, salsa, and avocado slices.
- Squeeze lime juice over tacos before serving.
