Description
A healthier version of orange chicken made with fresh ingredients and baked instead of fried.
Ingredients

- 1 pound chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add diced chicken and cook until browned.
- Pour the orange sauce over the chicken and stir to coat.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- Use fresh orange juice for best flavor.
