- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, maple syrup (or honey), and cinnamon. Toss to coat the apples evenly.
- In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, almond flour, melted coconut oil, chopped nuts, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Spread the apple mixture into a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Evenly distribute the oat topping over the apples.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
