- 2 lbs frozen hashbrowns
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the hashbrowns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, onion, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the casserole is hot and bubbly.
Notes
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- This dish can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
- You can add cooked bacon or sausage for extra flavor.
