Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers (soaked in water if wooden)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
- Thread the shrimp onto skewers, about 4-5 shrimp per skewer.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the shrimp skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque.
- Brush additional garlic butter on the shrimp while grilling for extra flavor.
- Remove from the grill, serve hot, and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the shrimp in the garlic butter mixture for 30 minutes before grilling.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning on the grill.
- Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini to the skewers for a colorful presentation.
