Ingredients

  • 4 sausages
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 2 pounds potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sliced bell peppers and onion with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Grill the sausages for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until fully cooked.
  4. In a pot, boil the cubed potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and return to the pot.
  5. Add butter and milk to the potatoes. Mash until smooth and season with salt to taste.
  6. In the last few minutes of grilling, add the peppers and onions to the grill, cooking until tender.
  7. Serve the grilled sausages with the sautéed peppers and a generous side of mashed potatoes.
